Your personal-use license

Every Happily Ever Studio digital product is licensed, not sold. Your purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to edit and use the product for your own personal, non-commercial celebration or household use. Copyright and ownership remain with Happily Ever Studio or the relevant third-party rights holder.

You may

• edit an editable template for your personal event;
• download and print the product for that event;
• print the number of copies reasonably needed for your guests;
• send a completed invitation or party design to your personal guests; and
• use a professional printer solely to produce your licensed personal copies.

You may not

• resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lend, gift or share files or template links;
• sell printed or digital products made from the design;
• use it for client work, multiple customers, commercial events, business promotions or print-on-demand;
• upload editable or source files to shared drives, groups, marketplaces or download libraries;
• claim the design, artwork or modified version as your own;
• extract and separately distribute graphics, fonts, photographs or design elements;
• register the design as a trademark, copyright, domain or other exclusive right; or
• use the files or their components to train or supply datasets for generative artificial intelligence.

Template links and third-party elements

Template links are for the purchaser only. Third-party fonts, photographs, graphics or Canva elements remain subject to the rights holder’s terms. This License never grants more rights than Happily Ever Studio is authorized to provide.

If the license is breached

The license ends automatically if you breach it. You must stop using the product and delete shared or unauthorized copies. We may suspend template or account access and pursue available remedies. This does not affect mandatory consumer rights regarding the original purchase.
